Still Point Massage and Wellness Studio is owned and operated by working massage therapists. Between ownership and supervisory staff, we have 30+ years of experience in the field of Massage Therapy. We understand the in’s and out’s of being a working Massage Therapist, as well as the experience necessary to run a prospering business.
Our studio is run with a “family first mentality.'' We understand that life has challenges and we do our best to accommodate our employee's needs with an understanding approach to working nights and weekends. We also believe in providing our employees with paid time off and sick pay to ensure that they are getting the time needed to spend with their families. In addition to this, we also offer disability insurance through Aflac Insurance to ensure peace of mind should you be injured and unable to work.
We are owned and operated by not only a woman but also a single mom who has been a massage therapist for 22 years. Due to the struggles and hardships that she has faced from being a single mom/massage therapist/ business owner for the last 12 years, is why we have a large appreciation for our employees and we know that we cannot be successful without them.
We feel that our LMT’s deserve our gratitude and appreciation and should be compensated with a wage that they deserve for their contribution to our team. This is why our LMT’s are paid for ALL No Shows and Late Cancelations. In addition to this, we offer larger than average pay, productivity bonuses, and commission pay on retail sales.
It is because of this view that we offer our therapists many great benefits that you will not see working for other employers. The benefits of working for a fellow massage therapist with many years of experience are endless. Not only is the owner a massage therapist, but our general manager is also a therapist as well!! We are a business owned and operated by LMT’s so we understand the needs of the massage therapist. The owner and general manager include their knowledge and her experience in all of the training that we offer to our employees.
In addition to this knowledge, we also offer the benefit of sending you to continuing education classes at no cost to you. Being part of our team means that we believe that YOU as an LMT are valuable. We believe in the power and healing of safe, therapeutic touch. We believe spa essentials and therapeutic modalities are not something the client should ever have to choose between. You should never be forced to upsell essentials. All of our massages include hot towels, hot stones, and certified organic therapeutic-grade essential oils at no extra cost to the client.
